silver and gold

The other item I bought from NY&C was this lovely polka dot sweater. I can't wait to wear it in a whole bunch of combinations. Here, I paired it with a neutral and casual skirt, with pops of bright pink. You can see how I wore the same skirt here. I really like the skirt because its not a typical denim and its stretchy and comfy, but I get a little lost on what to wear it with. I guess I went pretty safe both of these times with a grey top. Do you have any ideas?

I loved the silver polka dots on this sweater but actually what I really want is some gold in my closet! I would love something casual and something that can be dressed up. I find gold a little tricky to wear for everyday because I don't want to look too sparkley. I love these pieces!

I am really looking forward to the holiday weekend. I have sooo much to do, but it will be nice to slow down (a little) and not be constantly rushing-which I feel like I am always doing. I am excited to cook, see family, and get some schoolwork done. (Believe it or not, I am enjoying working on my paper because I am so fascinated by the topic and I think I will do a good job :) )
