That day, I came up with a new way to tie my head scarf and I have been using it so many times since. I like it because I don't put my hair in a pony underneath (I just leave it loose), and it has a sweet side knot.

I really like this outfit on you! I think pink and red make a great color combo!

thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great side knot- any chance you want to share pointers/how you put it together?
ReplyDeleteI have to do a proper tutorial post- but for now I will explain it as best as I can-
ReplyDeletePut the scarf on your head a bit towards the side (not exactly centered) and tie once behind your head. I first pull all my hair through to make sure its neat and then shove it all back in under the tie so its not showing, and then pull it tight. Now it looks like a regular beginner tie just a little heavier b/c the hair isn't in a bun. now pull the longest tail up over the crown of your head and tie a knot on the side with the shorter tail. You can either leave these tails down or you can take them and tie them again around the hair part
u finally stopped wearing pantyhose!!!????
