flapper dress remix

I noticed recently that my closet isn't so textured. So much of my clothes are cotton fabrics, and even if they aren't, I usually don't wear lots of textures in one outfit. Now that I think about it, textures are essential to making a statement and creating drama in an outfit. For example, the same all black ensemble can give two totally different vibes, based on the textures.

Here, Kim Kardashian's fur and leather look is casual and luxe, while Keira Knightley's lace is more formal and classic.

So in the spirit of trying new things and being inspired, I looked through my closet to see what I could do, and this is what came out. What do you think?

This is a great fall ensemble and includes the trends of chunkier knits and everything belted.

Makeup is dark berry lipstick. I am wearing my head scarf in a basic bun style, but made the bun a little lower than usual and added a cream sash for a little embellishment.
