pink and orange

A few years ago, before colorblocking was a trend, I saw a skirt at J. Crew that had wide pink and orange stripes. At the time, I couldn't afford it, but the color combination has inspired many outfits since. Crazy that I still think about it!

I also want to introduce you to Jeannette. I was looking for someone to collaborate with on this blog and help me with photos. I advertised on Craigslist and I found her! It was a privilege to meet her yesterday!

I am excited to work with Jeannette as I think she will contribute her artistic talent to the blog's layout and photos. I appreciate that she has a different style than me and will therefore push me to try new things and be more creative. Taking risks is what this blog is all about!

To get to know each other better, fashion-wise, Jeannette and I looked at fashion magazines together and raided a thrift store and took pictures. It was so fun!
